Amineh is Anita Owens, a ten-year dance professional with extensive experience who has performed at such venues as the American Heart Association Ball, the Hayes Hitzeman Foundation Fundraiser, the Science Museum of Virginia, Saks Fifth Avenue, and numerous restaurants and country clubs in Virginia and North Carolina. She has even opened for the musical group, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!

Anita has always been fascinated by the mysteries of ancient Egypt, its pyramids, and its desert treasures.
Her discovery of the art of belly dancing has been a dream come true and it is a dream that she wants to share with women everywhere.
 
Shy and lacking self-confidence, belly dance was the last thing Anita ever pictured herself doing.
One class of introductory belly dance was all it took for her to be captured by the intrigue, the music, and the possibilities!
Fast forward a few years and several classes and Anita found herself performing as 'Amineh' and that is when she truly found herself and freed  the Goddess Within.
